Hyperloop is the new mode of (public) transport for large amounts of passengers and freight. Vehicles drive through low pressure pipes. This enables energy-efficient travel and protects the vehicles against the environment. Hyperloop offers sustainable transport with high speed and long distances. Royal Schiphol Group and Hardt Hyperloop are working together to explore the future of sustainable high-speed transport.

One of the research themes is to investigate whether hyperloop is a viable option for expanding or improving the landside accessibility of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. DBG has supported Hardt hyperloop in the study of sustainable high-speed transport for Schiphol. The final document describes a number of use cases as part of the aforementioned study.
